<p>In the All England Open final, Akane Yamaguchi was forced to retire, and Carolina Marin won the women’s singles championship. <p>With a 21-15, 21-14 victory, Jonatan Christie defeated fellow countryman Anthony Ginting to claim his first All England men’s singles championship. In addition to securing Indonesia’s first singles championship here since 1994, Christie earned his first Super 1000 title.</p>
