Mohali’s Cricket Bash Academy raises the cricket trophy

<p>At IS Bindra PCA Stadium in Mohali, Cricket Bash Academy (CBA), Mohali, defeated DAV Senior Secondary School, Sector 8, by eight wickets to win the 2nd DP Azad Sports U-19 Invitational Trophy.</p>

<p>The Sector 8 squad scored 161 runs in 41 overs while batting first. Major contributions for the side came from opener Parmeet (35 off 57 balls) and Akshay Chaudhary (23 off 32 balls). For the bowling side, Chawla, Harish Kumar, Krish Bhagat, and Vyom Chugh each claimed two wickets.</p>
<p>The CBA responded by scoring 162 runs in 32.2 overs. The squad won easily thanks to a 122-run partnership for the second wicket made up of Manveer Singh (84 off 90 balls, including 10 boundaries) and captain Arjun Rajput (50 off 80 balls, including three boundaries). For the bowling side, Ashish and Ritesh both claimed a wicket.</p>
