According to the firm, orders of Rs 720 million, or Rs 72 crore, have already been received from a number of customers, including TKG Infrastructure, Karnataka Power Corporation, and UPPTCL. In the next year, Salasar expressed confidence in receiving an order valued at Rs 2,000 million.

In an exchange statement, the business said, “Company is confident of getting firm orders to manufacture and supply Monopoles amounting to Rs 2,000 Mn within the next 12 months.”

Once mostly used in the US and Europe, monopoles are increasingly gaining traction in India as well. This is due to the fact that monopoles offer many benefits over lattice towers, including those related to space, construction speed, quick delivery, and more. Even for high-rise 40 to 50 m poles, the advantage of a reduced base installation area makes monopoles an environmentally beneficial alternative.

The company also announced the commissioning of a new galvanization plant, one of the largest in the world with an annual capacity of 96,000 MT, which is ready to meet the growing demand for high-quality galvanized products across a range of industries, including construction, infrastructure, automotive, monopoles and other towers, large-scale structures, and more.

Monopoles are becoming more and more popular in India, where they are being used by a variety of State Power Corporations, the National Highway Authority, Metro Rail Corporations, Municipal Corporations, Real Estate Developers, and Smart Cities. They have several benefits, including up to 90% smaller footprints, reduced environmental impact, vandalism proof, shorter turnaround/installation times, swift mechanized erection procedures with higher safety levels, and the ability to withstand adverse weather conditions.
