Lisa from BLACKPINK will debut as an actor in The White Lotus Season 3

<p>Following months of conjecture on BLACKPINK’s Lisa Manobal acting debut, Variety reported that she will be joining the cast of HBO’s The White Lotus Season 3. Production for the next season is scheduled to begin in February, with shots to be taken in the scenic locales of Bangkok, Phuket, and Koh Samui. The narrative will present a new group of visitors at another White Lotus location, although specifics about Manobal’s part and the storyline are yet unknown. It’s interesting to note that Manobal is now BLACKPINK’s second star in an HBO series. Prior to this, in June 2023, Jennie Ruby Jane debuted as an actress in the contentious drama The Idol, which starred Rachel Sennott, The Weeknd, Lily-Rose Depp, and others.</p>

<p>Lisa will be joining a cast that already boasts a number of well-known actors and actresses: Jason Isaacs, Julian Kostov, Michelle Monaghan, Sam Nivola, Morgana O’Reilly, Arnas Fedaravičius, Christian Friedel, Scott Glenn, Walton Goggins, Dom Hetrakul, Sarah Catherine Hook, Lek Patravadi, Shalini Peiris, Parker Posey, Natasha Rothwell, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Tayme Thapthimthong, and Aimee Lou Wood. The inclusion of the K-Pop star heightens interest in the next season.</p>
<p>Notably, Season 3 will not include Jennifer Coolidge, the show’s top actor, since her character bids adieu in the previous season. In an open interview with Today, Coolidge discussed the forthcoming season and said that she is envious of the new group.</p>
<p>“I’m jealous of everyone who’s going,” the woman remarked. I would want to emphasize that I’m not being a good sport about it, but I’m at a loss for what to do. You have to accept that you will die at their hands. Since it indicates that they aren’t requesting your costume sizes or anything else. It’s finished. I need to acquire something else. I suppose I have to make something else happen. Am I depressed, though? To be really honest, I’m disappointed that I’m not included. Season 3 seems very excellent to me. It will include a ton of awesome things in it, including maybe some amazing sex stuff. There is never a boring time here.</p>
<p>Together with executive producers David Bernad and Mark Kamine, Mike White is the creator, writer, and director of The White Lotus Season 3. HBO and the Tourism Authority of Thailand have joined together to promote the next season. The first season was set in Hawaii, while the second was filmed in Sicily; the next season will be produced in Thailand. The first season of the show in 2021 won 10 Emmys and was nominated for twenty more, earning it the title of best limited or anthology series. However, the second season—which debuted in December 2022—carried on the momentum, garnering 23 Emmy nominations in addition to five wins.</p>
