<p>Adarsh Gourav is now preoccupied with establishing his reputation as an actor, but he is also harboring ambitions to work behind the camera. He claims he will always act, but he is really serious about becoming a director.</p>

<p>“I take directing and filmmaking very seriously. In fact, when I was much younger, I thought that narrative was the foundation of being an actor. When I was younger, I used to like entertaining my family and friends by telling tales, especially the blues. Gourav tells us, “And I would be so amazed when people would get convinced with those stories.”</p>
<p>“That has been the genesis of my acting career,” the 29-year-old continues. Now, I would want to direct my first feature film, perhaps within the next two or three years. I only need to find a decent partner to assist me write a screenplay; I’ve written a couple of tales already. After that, all I would have to do is locate the ideal producer. Right now, there’s nothing more I can say to you. Though it’s still in its infancy, I’m really enthusiastic to direct movies in my lifetime.</p>
<p>Throughout his more than ten-year career, Gourav has acted in a number of films, including The White Tiger, Hostel Daze, Extrapolations, the American anthology drama series, Brutal Guns & Gulaabs, and Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, which was released recently.</p>
<p>The BAFTA-nominated actor says, “I want to act and direct both,” when asked whether he intends to give up acting after becoming a director. Because I can identify with both, that is. I have the capacity to accomplish both at once. To be honest, I want to direct myself someday. I think the two will work well together, so that’s what I’m going to do.</p>
<p>Regarding his career, he has gained recognition for his part in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, which costarred Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday. He really had a physical makeover for the online movie.</p>
<p>“I’ve received an incredible amount of reaction for the job. Sometimes, when working on a movie, you can tell it’s excellent. We were all fired up like that on site. However, we never have control over the outcome in the end, and receiving this kind of reaction is very satisfying,” he concludes.</p>
