Abhimanyu Easwaran has been selected by the selection committee to take his position for the two Tests, which begin in Centurion on December 26.

The group also included Sai Sudharsan and Rajat Patidar, who recently made their India white-ball debuts on the tour of South Africa. In the meanwhile, Navdeep Saini was also chosen for the 13-person team.

India A just returned from a visit to South Africa, where they participated in two unofficial Test matches that resulted in draws.

With only one game, Easwaran scored eighteen runs, while Bharat managed just six.

One player to keep an eye on is Pradosh Ranjan Paul, who is playing for the England Lions series. He scored the most runs for his team in the first unofficial Test match in South Africa, amassing 163 runs.
