2024 Yamaha MT-09 Gets New Design With Technological Upgrades: Information Here

<p>In preparation for its worldwide debut on November 7 at the EICMA 2023 (International motorbike Exhibition) in Milan, Italy, Yamaha has unveiled a new version of the MT-09 naked streetfighter motorbike.</p>
<p>With enhanced mechanicals, additional features, and a new design, the new MT-09 is conceived as “The Knight Horse.” Let’s start with the most obvious one, which is that newly developed pointed face. The basic LED headlight unit from the previous MT has been replaced with a sleeker and crisper version. <p>As per the report, Yamaha claims to have modified and decreased the stiffness around the front to enhance the mix of stability and nimbleness in a wider range of scenarios. Additionally, the suspension has been redesigned with a focus on increasing total stiffness. Hardware has reportedly also been changed; the MT-09 now sports new Bridgestone Hypersport S23 tires and a Brembo master cylinder. The rider and pillion now have separate seats as opposed to being one piece as on the previous model, and there’s a USB-C-style charger below the seat.</p>
<p>YAMAHA MT-09 2024: SPECS AND DESIGN</p>
<p>The 2024 Yamaha MT-09 gets new, meaner-looking LED headlights fitted to the front fascia and a reworked fuel tank. The new Yamaha MT-09 has a five-inch full-color TFT instrument cluster with type-C charging ports and integrated electronics in addition to Yamaha Ride Control and cruise control.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, one of the most interesting changes to the updated MT-09 is a redesigned grille with an acoustic amplifier that transmits sound to the rider. It may be found above the gasoline tank. Yamaha’s most current MT-10 uses the similar methodology.</p>
<p>Yamaha has claimed that the motorbike is more powerful than before, despite not having publicly disclosed all of the machine’s technical specifications. However, the 847 cc three-cylinder liquid-cooled engine of the previous model MT-09 was mated to a six-speed gearbox and generated 113 horsepower at 10,000 rpm and 87.5 Nm of peak torque at 8,000 rpm.</p>
<p>With a potential later Indian debut, the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer has formally declared that the new MT-09 would go on sale in Japan in the spring of 2024. By December 2023, Yamaha plans to introduce the 300cc models in India; the improved Yamaha MT-09 will also ultimately be available there.</p>
